Hi chefpreneurs, have you set your goals for your social media yet?
This is so important because goal-setters become successful faster!
If you are trying to take full advantage of social media to promote your business, which you should, you need to know the main 3 goals to be successful on social media.
Here are simple 3 step goals and how to achieve these goals:
1. Audience attraction
Maybe you are starting your professional page from scratch or you just have a very small following.
The first goal on social media is to attract more audience.
At this stage here are what you need to focus on:
Optimizing your profile by being clear on your service and adding a call to action.

Collaborating with other chefs or influencers who is your target audience so you will get exposure from their followers.
Posting lots of both short and long video content because video marketing is powerful on many social media for reaching people who aren't yet following you.

Reels are reaching non-followers the most
Finding your target audience through niche hashtags and from your competitor's page and engaging.

Leveraging trendy posts and trendy audio your audience are posting.
2. Promotion
After you have built a decent amount of audience, let's start focusing more on sales.
Keep in mind, you don't need a large following for people to start buying from you!
I have started getting business inquiries when I only had 200 followers on my first account so it's definitely not about the follower count.
It's about the quality of content and so many other factors.
Alright, so what's an effective way to promote your post?
Posting engaging content and beautiful food pictures are amazing and you are indirectly selling by taking them through your journey in your content.
However, there's also a power in direct selling and telling them clearly what they can get from you.
If your specialty is meal prep, your target needs your service because they want to save time and have meal variety.
If your specialty is healthy sweets, your target will want their sweet tooth satisfied without feeling guilty about eating them.
Knowing your market's needs is so powerful and crucial.
This is what I would say if my specialty is meal prep highlighting saving time and convenience for busy moms ↓

3. Community building
Now you need to keep your audience interested and engaged.
See what types of content resonates with them the best and produce more of those content while also trying new things out.
To stand out from the competitors, this is important!
Some of the ways you can achieve building relationship and the community are by:
Using interactive stickers on your story
